Continuous and careful separation by machines is becoming more and more popular in many sectors of food technology. In this context the behaviour of the respective products due to the differences in structure, strength or texture are utilised.
The product to be processed is fed between a highly elastic crushing belt and a rotating perforated drum made of stainless steel where it is exposed to an Increasing, short pressing and separating process. Solid parts which are harder, rougher or toughly stuck together remain on the exterior of the drum while all soft parts are pressed through the perforation into the drum. Thus, e. g. fish stuffing can be separated from skin and bones, meat from bone splinters, gristle, skin or sinews in a continuous operation and in the recognised most careful manner.

Oversized, inlet cross sections which can be easily filled with products which have not been precut enable fast working for manual feeding. Simultaniously, the basic SEPA 1400 version, which can be combined with all known conveying techniques, is already equipped with all necessary control devices for fully automatic operation. Our designer has been more than generous. The enormous axle diameter with overdimensioned bearings, the adjustable speed range of the drive complex which can be accessed within seconds, the massive upper structure with more than 1400 kg mass are only a few reassuring details for users who demand more from a separating machine.
A foolproof pressing system ensures simple setting of the machine. Both, PU crushing belts, highly resistant to wear for tough use, and softly separating, low-priced neoprene crushing belts can be mounted.
